Minister Rose Marie Bruno
The former Rose Marie Butera, youngest of 14 siblings,
was raised in a godly home and reared in Rochester,
New York. At the tender age of 14, she showed
a heart of sensitivity to the Lord and became
active in her church, teaching in the Sunday
School Program and playing the piano during
the services. Possessing a quiet, shy nature as
a
child, she nonetheless grew into women committed
to service unto the Lord. As the First Lady
of Nutley Abundant Life Worship Center Church,
she
is revered for her ability to Mother everyone
that she comes in contact with. Her life has
taken her in diverse directions to reach this
point in her life.
She raised her first born son while on the road
traveling with her husband during their days as
a Church and Tent Evangelism Ministry in the United
States. Her role was not only as young, first-time
mother, but also as the pianist and organist at
each tent service and crusade. As her life changed
to that as a pastor’s wife at their first
pastorate in Jamestown, New York, she would birth
2 more children while accompanying the worship
of every service playing the piano, organ or the
accordian. She ran various aspects of the church
and participated in countless others. They included:
Superintendant of the Sunday School Program and
a part
of the D.O.R.C.A.S Ministry (dedicated to meeting
the needs of traveling ministries and visiting
missionaries). Her life would change again in their
second pastorate in Nutley, New Jersey where she
would birth her final child, raise them and have
her ministries expand to include those previously
mentioned, in addition to counseling, women’s
ministry, starting and maintaining a large bookstore,
teacher and leader. Not being able to find anymore
time in the day, and having raised her children,
she accepted full-time paid employment at Nutley
in 1997. She now travels to speak at conferences
and prayer breakfasts, and maintains a steady diet
of teaching and preaching in Nutley. She has traveled
with her husband abroad to minister in the Holy
Land and Argentina. She is the co-host of a vibrant
television ministry that is aired throughout the
Tri-State Area each week on numerous cable networks
that reach a potential audience of 3.5 million
viewers. She even found the time to earn a Ministerial
Degree from Logos Bible College, (Bronx, New York).
Her scope of influence has not only provided help
to her husband, but to her children, grandchildren,
congregants and community as well.
Minister Rose Marie and her husband Bishop Bruno,
Sr., married since June 1958, have raised four
children, and currently enjoy 13 grandchildren.
Their two sons are full-time Pastor’s in
New Jersey and their two daughters are active with
them in church ministry in Nutley.
