1.
For safety reasons there is no gum chewing or
running in Children's Ministry unless part of
a supervised activity.
2. Children attend the class designated for their age group unless otherwise
authorized.
3. Children's Ministry Staff will verbally
instruct/train a child who is disobeying. We
fully understand that each child is unique
and is to be treated as such. Our goal is to
quickly
redirect the child so he/she can continue enjoying
the activities and experience the mercy and
grace of our Father.
4. Should a child not respond to the verbal
instructions/training provided, the leader
may determine if the child will be able to
continue
in that day's class or be brought to the parent/guardian.
Consultation with the children's Director is
available as needed.
5. Children are to refrain
from use of profane language, fighting or provoking
fights, disrespect of other children, staff, God
or his house.
6. Please Note;
in no way do we wish to have a child feel that
"sitting in service"
is a punishment. The children need to see the
adult services as positive and as something they
will
participate in as they mature.
7. We believe it is the parent/guardian's
responsibility to correct their child. It is a
goal of the Children's Ministry department to help
parents fulfill Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child
in the way he should go: and when he is old, he
will not depart from it."
